Since becoming pregnant, I've developed a joy to cooking at home. I swear, the me before, only knew how to make instant noodles with an egg. Mostly because like most Singaporeans, we have a live-in cook/help at home who does the daily cooking for us - there was never a need for us to worry about cooking. Obviously as we grew into adulthood, this did not change either.
