In my previous post, I said that I've officially stopped going to the gym, off the elliptical trainer and into the pool for those relaxing, soothing laps.
But last night, looking at myself in the mirror - I realised that I had lost the tone in my upper arms and biceps and shoulders. That was when I decided that my rubbish diet of ice creams, fried foods, packed biscuits & crackers has got to stop - I've given into my cravings long enough for the past month. I had to hit the gym once again. So this morning, I attempted the elliptical trainer, with a slow start and warmup. After about 5 minutes into my workout, I realised I could push it to the next resistance level pretty comfortably. And so I did. :)
I managed to finish my usual 30min cardio workout and then decided to attempt my weights again, following Doctor Cathy's workout videos.
I have to say, I'm feeling pretty good after that workout! much better than going for swims. :) Hopefully my spine does not act up too much after this session.
