We have been "frequent-ing" this place for awhile now, especially more so when we feel like eating out at an Indian Vegetarian place.
In the spirit of Christmas that is fast approaching, I thought of sharing this place that promotes the value of giving. :)
The environment is simple, yet clean - and might I add, they're baby friendly too. No frills, no fuss. The staff who work here are volunteers. They have a few outlets, but we only frequent the one at Central Square. Yes, human beings are creatures of habits.
My family and I would usually come here on a weekend night where they offer a buffet spread of indian vegetarian cuisine. Food looks simple, but really quite tasty.
What I like about this place: feel free to give whatever amount you think is suitable for the meal that you've just had. It is on a charitable and voluntary basis - but of course, who would walk out without paying? There is no fixed amount - pay $0.10 for your meal or $100, whichever amount you deem appropriate. Frankly, we would normally give $10-15 a pax.
Dinner comes with choice of fruit juice or a fruit lassi as well. :) Simple, delicious home-cooked style.
